The invention relates to a roof hatch, in particular for vehicle roofs. Such roof hatches have a cover which, in order to uncover a roof opening bounded by a frame, can be hinged out at one of two opposite sides or else at both together. In order to make possible low-friction and low-loss operation using little effort, according to the invention, the connecting rods, which operate the hinging-out devices, are mounted rotatably at one end on the hinging-out devices and at their other end are guided, on the one hand, in connecting-link tracks of a driven cam disc, mounted centrally on the inside of the cover, and, on the other hand, are guided additionally on essentially circular guide tracks fixed on the cover.
