The invention relates to a high-pressure water distributor (7) for downpipes (30). The distributor (7) comprises a pipe (10) which is produced from a flexible or rigid material and exhibits a water-tight bottom end (14) and an outlet connection (18). Rainwater which is channelled into the downpipe (30) is accumulated in the pipe (10) and produces a pressure level. As a result of this pressure level, the speed and the discharge volume of the water out of the outlet connection (18) increase considerably. The discharged water can be channelled through a conventional garden hose (22) which is connected to a sprinkler or a similar appliance, or the water can simply be channelled to a location at a distance from the foundation of the building. <IMAGE>
