Door locking handle assembly

A door locking handle assembly is of the pull-out and side-swinging lever action type. A locking shaft (11), to which a catch plate (36) is fixed, is pivoted in a casing (1); a retractable handle (19) received in the casing (1) is pivoted to the shaft (11) by means of a pivot (35); a spring-support plate (29) is axially slidably mounted on the shaft (11) but not rotatable relative thereto (11); a spring (37) urges the plate (29) toward a front end of the shaft (11); wherein a cross-shaped click concave or convex (23) is provided in a bearing surface (22) of the handle (19), and engaged with a corresponding cross-shaped click convex or concave (31) provided in a front surface (30) of the plate (29) when the handle (19) is swung sideways, so that the handle (19) is held in a position in which the catch is unfastened. A lock (44) is mounted in the free end of the handle.
