The information processing circuit (5) is coupled to the exchange (4) via a control connection (11), for evaluating data input by at least one information input and output device (7), for forming at least one announcement information item for the subscriber terminal (3) and for supplying the announcement information item to the exchange (4). The information processing circuit (5) is also provided for inserting an announcement identification and/or parameters into a message block. The exchange (4) is also provided for forming a sequence of announcements and for supplying the sequence of announcements to the voice output circuit (14) contained in the exchange (4), after evaluating a message block by means of the announcement identification and/or the parameters.
