The invention relates to a flow machine with controllable-pitch propeller. An adjusting spindle (12) is arranged inside the shaft carrying the controllable-pitch propeller. The adjusting spindle is connected to a reduction gearing (10) which is attached in the front-end area of a motor driving the controllable-pitch propeller or of a driven generator and interacts with an adjusting motor (5).
