PURPOSE:To provide a writing tool equipped with an advanced ink efflux controlling mechanism, with which the ink within a main body can be flowingly supplied to a writing tip by means of writing tool force during writing under the condition that the supply of the ink does not be interrupted during writing and a certain amount of ink is supplied to the writing tip at all times. CONSTITUTION:The spring force of a coiled spring 8, which energizes a valve 7 retractably built in a valve main body 6, to the direction for closing a valve seat 9 fittingly inserted in the valve main body 6, is set to be nearly equal to the writing tool force at writing. Further, a controlling part 3, which controls the amount of the opening of the valve 7 to the valve seat 9, is provided on either the valve 7 or the valve main body 6. At the same time, the length on the tip side of the valve 7 is set to be the length, by which the tip of the valve buttingly closed the valve seat 9. On the other hand, the length of a writing tip 4 is so constituted as to abut or fittingly connect the writing tip against or to the tip of the valve 7. Thus, by softly pressing the writing tip 4 against the surface of writing paper, the valve 7 is separated from the valve seat, resulting in allowing to flowingly supply a certain amount (proper amount) of ink 1 from within a main body part 2 at all times. |
