发明名称 METHOD OF SEMI-RIGID PAVEMENT
摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain a semi-rigid pavement having sufficient flexural strength in a short term of works by pouring a polymer cement grout using a copolymer emulsion prepared from a specific unsaturated monomer into voids of aggregates. CONSTITUTION:2-20wt.% of an unsaturated monomer containing a hydroxyl group in the molecule (e.g. 2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate) is blended with 90-98wt.% of another unsaturated monomer containing neither carboxyl group nor amide group (e.g. methyl methacrylate) to give a mixture, which is mixed with an emulsifying agent, a polymerization initiator and a chain transfer agent. Emulsion polymerization is carried out usually at 30-90 deg.C and the average particle diameter of the prepared copolymer emulsion is 0.15-1.0mum. In pavement, 0.5-20wt.% of the copolymer emulsion based on cement weight is kneaded with cement, other additives and water at normal temperature in a mixer to give a polymer cement grout. The polymer cement grout is added to asphalt concrete having 40-100 deg.C open particle size, having finished paving.
