PURPOSE:To obtain a tube container of which the body part is always kept in a flat state and which is excellent in the-property of pressing out the contents and, moreover excellent in a placing stability and the property of display and in discriminability of the contents displayed on the body part. CONSTITUTION:A tube container 1 is composed of a mouth part 3, a flat shoulder part 4, a body part 5 and a bottom part 6. The sectional shape of the body part 5 being continuous to the shoulder part 4 is flat and the rate of flatness is 170 to 300%, while the radius ratio of curvature constituting a long side and a short side 15 300 to 600%. The wall thickness on the long side of the body part 5 is made larger than that on the short side thereof and the thickness ratio thereof is made 1:98 to 1:60. The tube container 1 is prepared by a method wherein a flat hollow body is molded by blowing parison of thermoplastic, the end edge part of the bottom part 6 of the blow-molded hollow body is cut the contents are filled up therein and then opposite long-side cut end edges of the hollow body are joined by solvent welding so that a sealed part 8 is made. |
