<p>PURPOSE:To produce a high strength and high electric conductivity copper alloy improved in strength, at the time of subjecting a copper alloy ingot contg. a specified amt. of Ag to cold working by executing two different heat treatment respectively under specified conditions in the process of cold working. CONSTITUTION:The ingot of a copper allay contg., by weight, 1 to 10%. Ag, and the balance Cu with inevitable impurities is subjected to cold working. In the process of the cold working, heat treatment is executed in the temp. range of 570 to 680 deg.C for 0.5 to 5hr in a vacuum atmosphere or in an inert gas atmosphere. Furthermore, it is subjected to cold working, and in the process of the cold working, heat treatment is executed in the temp. range of 400 to 550 deg.C for 0.5 to 40hr in a vacuum atmosphere or in an inert gas atmosphere. In this way, the copper alloy remarkably improved in strength can be obtd. at a relatively low cost without deteriorating its electric conductivity.</p> |
