PURPOSE: To manufacture a constitutional part having the appearance of a natural stone by compressing a mixture of particles of a thermosetting resin and a specific granular filler within a heating press mold and curing the resin under compression while holding its temp. to take out a cured object. CONSTITUTION: A constitutional part having the appearance of a natural stone is produced as follows. At first, particles of a thermosetting resin and at most 30 wt.% of a granular filler with a max. particle size of 30μm-4 mm selected from a natural fiber, a mineral filler and a mixture of them are at least included to prepare a mixture which is, in turn, charged in a female press mold heated to 120-160 deg.C. The mixture in this press mold is progressively compressed in a press mold under pressurfe sufficient to introduce the compsn. of the mixture into the whole gap between a male core and the female press mold by the hot male core making the closing of the female press mold certain to cure the used resin under pressure sufficient to ensure the closing of the press mold while holding its temp. and the constitutional part obtained by using the press mold is taken out. |
