PURPOSE:To eliminate unevenness and defectives in uniformity on side walls arising from splicing parts of carcasses. CONSTITUTION:A splicing part S of a carcass material 4' is partially heated, or swelled by organic solvent, or pricked, beforehand, and its tensile stiffness in the direction intersecting carcass cord (c) at a right angle is lowered, and the carcass material is inflated with the declined tensile stiffness maintained, for forming a green tire. Furthermore, the splicing part S of the carcass material 4' is extended partially in the direction intersecting the carcass cords (c), at a right angle and splicing is made after recovery of the elasticity. |
