PURPOSE:To prevent generation of abnormal sound due to touch of an inflator with the inner circumference of the opening of a retainer. CONSTITUTION:An opening 42 is provided on one side 34a of a retainer lower 34, and an inflator 44 is inserted into the opening 42. A plate 50 is provided in opposite to the side 34a, and a ring 56 made of resin or rubber is inserted between the plate 50 and the side 34a. The inner circumferential edge of the ring 56 is projected inward than the opening 42 and the center opening of the plate 50, and the outer circumferential face of the inflator 44 is contacted with only the ring 56. Hereby, generation of abmnormal sound due to metal touch between the inflator and the inner circumferential face of the opening of the retainer is prevented. By changing the inner diameter of the ring, it can deal with the change of the diameter of the inflator. |
