PURPOSE:To surely make slits function by a method wherein a plurality of cutters set in the length extending from the outer circumferential face of a tamper evident ring part to its inner circumferential face while being unable to cut holding pieces provided to the inner circumferential face are moved relatively against a container cap in its axial direction. CONSTITUTION:Two cutters set in the length extending from the outer circumferential face of a tamper evident ring part 10 to its inner circumferential face while being unable to cut holding pieces 22 are arranged so that they can satisfy a formula (n+1)P- t>D>np+t (wherein D stands for the distance between two adjoining slits, P stands for pitches of holding pieces, t stands for the width of the root of the holding pieces 22, n stands for the number of holding pieces provided between two adjoining slits) and become larger than the pitch S for bridging parts 20 forming a weakening line. The two cutters constructed as mentioned above are moved relatively in the axial direction of a container cap 2, and two vertical slits 24 extending from the lower end of the tamper evident ring part 10 to the weakening line are formed with one out of the above two slits formed in a position where the root 220 of the holding piece 22 does not exist. |
