<p>PURPOSE:To provide a method for repairing a pipe which enables repairing a large-sized pipe efficiently using a lining material which is lightweight and easy to handle. CONSTITUTION:A small-sized lining tube 2 impregnated with a thermosetting resin is stuck spirally to the inner wall of a pipe while compressed air is supplied into the lining tube 2. With the lining tube 2 expanded by the air pressure, a heating fluid such as hot air is fed into the tube 2 to cure the resin. The use of the small-sized lining tube 2 as a lining material facilitates the production and transport of the tube 2 and reduces the cost. Since the lining tube 2 is easy to handle, the lining operation can be conducted easily and efficiently. Moreover, since the amount of the rein injected in the lining tube 2 is relatively small, the resin can be cured in a short time to reduce the time of the repairing operation.</p> |
