PURPOSE:To eliminate image deterioration and output an image at desirous magnification change, by a method wherein a classification of data within printing information input from a data source is discriminated and magnification changing process is made to perform according to the classification of each data based on the discrimination result. CONSTITUTION:Input printing data are wholly stored once into a message receiving buffer 6-1 and then a classification of data is discriminated by an analysis part 6-2. In the case where received data is letter data hereupon, a latter scalar part 6-4a is allowed to perform scalar processing, that is, rasterizing processing based on outline font data. Then in case of a figure data, a vector magnification-reduction processing part 6-4b is allowed to perform magnification- reduction processing of vector data, in the case of an ornament pattern, a magnification-reduction processing part 6-4c of a position.range is allowed to perform magnification.reduction processing of a position and range of data of the ornament pattern. Bit map development is performed by a development part 6-3a after that, and after an output frame memory 6-5 is allowed to develop as an output image, it is output. |
