PURPOSE:To enable both the selection of a method for irrigation according to a crop in which a seedling is raised and the uniform irrigation from the topmost to the lowermost stages in the case of plural nursery shelves. CONSTITUTION:This irrigator is obtained by installing rice plant irrigating nozzle units 29 equipped with plural nozzles having a width of the nursery shelves 7 in the lateral side of plural rotary nursery machines (A1) to (A4), two rows of vegetable irrigating nozzle units 37 and 38 in a mobile irrigating machine (D) movable extending over the plural rotary nursery machines, regulating the vegetable irrigating nozzle units to nearly the width of the nursery shelves, taking out and retreating the vegetable irrigating nozzle units from the mobile irrigating machine, enabling the insertion of the vegetable irrigating nozzle units between the nursery shelves, arranging the vegetable irrigating nozzle units at nearly the central height of the rotary nursery machines, discharging water from the irrigating nozzle unit 37 in the first row to the topmost stage of the nursery shelves, discharging a smaller amount of water than that from the irrigating nozzle unit in the first row from the irrigating nozzle unit 38 in the second row on the respective nursery shelves in the second stage or thereafter. Furthermore, air can be jetted in place of water from the nozzles of the vegetable irrigating nozzle unit. |
