PURPOSE:To obtain a nonwoven fabric, having a high hygroscopic rate and suitable as a sheetlike drying agent used in a wide field such as foods, medicines, cosmetics or precision machines requiring the maintenance in a dry state for quality assurance. CONSTITUTION:This nonwoven fabric comprises at least 50wt.% core-sheath type conjugate fiber containing polyethylene terephthalate as a core component and high-density polyethylene, containing 25% magnesium sulfate and having a lower melting point than that of the polymer which is the core component as a sheath component. |
