PURPOSE:To facilitate mounting work of an air bag device by mounting the air bag device on a car body side member by a bolt. CONSTITUTION:A bolt 60 mounted on an inflator 58 is slightly longer than a conventional bolt, and the inflator 58 and an air bag device 10A having the inflator 58 are fixed to a car body side member 62 by utilizing the bolt 60. Since a front bracket, a rear bracket and the car body side member are omitted in the mounting structure of the air bag device, the on-vehicle weight of the air bag device 10A can be reduced. Since the number of mounting points (screw stopping points) is small, mounting work is facilitated. By reducing the number of brackets and by completely omitting the bracket, the mounting work of the air bag device can be facilitated. |
