PURPOSE:To provide a cleaning method of a vulcanizing mold, used for the manufacture of elastomer, which is capable of removing the vulcanized residue of elastomer adhered to the mold without damaging the mold. CONSTITUTION:The removing process of vulcanized residue of elastomer adhered to a vulcanizing mold 3 is effected by inserting the vulcanizing mold 3 into a treating tank 2 under plasma environment.
