PURPOSE:To obtain a protecting and supporting member for a surface mount technology(SMT)-responding electrical and electronic part, having basic characteristics such as mechanical strength, high-temperature heat resistance, especially high solder heat resistance and high-temperature durability, high shape accuracy, especially high dimensional stability at high temperatures, insulating properties, high moisture resistance and flame retardancy and sufficient toughness and good in adhesion to sealing materials. CONSTITUTION:This polyarylene sulfide resin composition comprises 100 pts.wt. substantially thermally oxidizing uncross-linked polyarylene sulfides, 1-25 pts.wt. ethylenic copolymer containing 50-90wt.% ethylene, 5-49wt.% alkyl alpha,beta-unsaturated carboxylate and 0.5-10wt.% maleic anhydride as monomer units, 0.5-10 pts.wt. Mg/Al oxide solid solution, as necessary, <=3 pts.wt. di(cyclohexyl)ammonium nitrite and 25-150 pts.wt. reinforcing filler. |
