PURPOSE:To smoothly finish or to form an uneven pattern on a surface in a uniform thickness via a polymer material sheet between a rigid roll and an elastic roll. CONSTITUTION:An elastic roll 5 disposed in parallel with a rigid roll 1 is sequentially formed from an inside of an elastic inner layer 7, a thin hard outer layer 8, a soft metal-plated layer 9 and a hard metal-plated layer 10. Variations in a gap, a contact pressure between the two rolls 1 and 5 are absorbed by elastic deformations of the layers 7, 9 to obtain a sheet of a uniform thickness, and a surface is smoothed by the layer 10. An uneven surface 9A is provided on the layer 9, and the layer 10 is provided along an uneven part to form an uneven pattern. |
