PURPOSE:To provide the ink image receiving sheet for fusion-transfer type heat transfer, which has the excellent dot reproducibility and can obtain high recording density. CONSTITUTION:A carrier and an ink image receiving layer (coating amount of 4g/m<2>), which is formed on one surface of the carrier and has the main component of a binder resin(e.g. styrene-butadiene copolymer latex, polyvinyl alcohol or the like) and pigment (e.g. kaolinite clay or the like), are provided. An undercoat layer (coating amount of 8g/m<2>), which contains rosin compound and/or wax in addition to ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer resin as the main components, is provided between the carrier and the ink image receiving layer. |
