<p>PURPOSE:To improve the mechanical working precision of the faying surface of a flange and prevent the distortion by thermal distortion to manufacture a highly precise pump frame. CONSTITUTION:A metal flat flange 3 having a flange-side opening 4B formed thereon is integrally connected to the lower end of a metal cylindrical body part having a body part-side opening 4A formed thereon by welding, the faying surface 3A of the flange 3 and the lower surface 5A of a temporary fixing member 5 are subjected to mechanical working in the state where the flange-side opening 4B is blocked by the temporary fixing member 5, the temporary fixing member 5 is then removed to open the opening 4B, whereby a pump frame is manufactured.</p> |
