PURPOSE:To obtain the subject endless belt to be used in a pressing apparatus to dehydrate wet paper for papermaking, containing fibrous material uniformly dispersed in the whole endless elastomer layer, stably usable over a long period without causing peeling trouble and having high durability. CONSTITUTION:A nonwoven cloth tape 1 is supplied by rotating a feeding roll 2, passed through a guide roll 3, immersed in a polyurethane elastomer stock liquid 5 in a tank 4 and passed between immersion rollers 6a to 6c in the tank 4 to impregnate the cloth with the elastomer. The nonwoven cloth tape 21 impregnated with the polyurethane stock liquid 5 is squeezed by passing between squeezing rolls 7a, 7b to adjust the amount of the impregnated liquid, passed on the outer circumference of a tension roll 8, transferred to the surface of a supporting belt 11 extended between the outer circumferences of metallic rolls 10a, 10b and wound to obtain the objective endless belt base cloth for dehydration press, containing uniformly dispersed fiber material in the whole endless elastomer layer, resistant to peeling in use and having high durability. |
