PURPOSE:To obtain a reinforced extrusion molded object low in the coefficient of linear expansion, having high rigidity, easy in secondary processing and reutilizable as a fiber reinforcing material by coating a reinforcing fiber core material with low foam base material. CONSTITUTION:A reinforced extrusion molded object 1 is produced by a method wherein a reinforcing fiber core material 2 inserted from an insertion port 4 using a crosshead die and extruded from an extrusion port through a tail 7, a holder 8 and a torpedo head 9 and a low foam base material 3 is injected from an injection port 5 to be subjected to co-extrusion molding from the extrusion port 6 in such a state that the core material is coated with the base material to integrate both materials. In this case, it is pref. to preliminarily coat the core material 2 with a resin showing good compatibility with respect to the low foam base material. This reinforced extrusion molded object is low in the coefficient of linear expansion, has high rigidity and facilitates secondary processing. |
