PURPOSE:To rapidly obtain the dental porcelain frame for prosthetic restoration of the front tooth part having excellent strength and toughness by forming the dental porcelain frame of a material formed by impregnating a ceramic porous layer contg. metal with glass. CONSTITUTION:This dental porcelain frame consists of the material formed by impregnating the ceramic porous layer contg. the metal with the glass. Gold (Au) is adequately used as the metal and alumina (Al2O3) as the ceramics Glass having constituting components consisting of B2O3, SiO2, Al2O3 and La2O3 is used as the glass and is so formed that the compsn. ratios (molar ratios) thereof are (SiO2+Al2O3)/(SiO2+Al2O3+B2O3+La2O3)=0.40 to 0.52 and B2O3/(B2O3+La2 O3)=0.46 to 0.72. As a result, the dental porcelain frame having the excellent strength and toughness is obtd. in an extremely short period of time. |
