PURPOSE:To permit the sure prevention of generation of timing error in sequence between a printer engine and a printer controller. CONSTITUTION:A command, sent out from a printer controller to an engine controller, is stored in a buffer, and a timer for monitoring the executing conditions of respective stored commands is started; then, the finishing condition of counting of the started timer is judged and general purpose command to carry out a prescribed operation for activating a printer engine by the printer controller based on the judgment result is sent out automatically. |
