PURPOSE:To enhance the printing efficiency by providing a converting means whereby when print style setting information in a memory of reprint control means that reprints the same print information again is changed after the previous printing, the print information is converted based on a renewed print style. CONSTITUTION:In a printer wherein print information inputted from a host computer 5 is interpreted by a control device 1 to control a laser printer engine 7, after a series of normal printing operations, one page of image data is remained in an image buffer 4c in a RAM 4. Therefore, when a reprint key 10a on a key panel 10 is pressed, the reprint can be performed. When print style setting information is renewed to desired one by operating a font setting key 10b and a style setting key 10c before the reprint is started, print information in a text buffer 4b is converted in accordance with the renewed print style to be developed to image information, thereby the information is stored in the image buffer 4c. |
