PURPOSE:To provide a combustion device such that presence of a packing between a main body of a burner and a mounting plate can be easily detected while the main body of the burner is fixed to the mounting plate and a failure of assembling the burner into a burner case while the packing is not being assembled in it can be avoided in advance. CONSTITUTION:A combustion device is so constructed that a main body 2 of a burner is fixed to a mounting plate 4 with a packing 3 being held between them. A packing confirming hole 22 is arranged at a location when the main body 2 of the burner is fixed to the mounting plate 4.
