PURPOSE:To provide a pipe lining material which is lightweight and inexpensive even when a sufficient amount of it is used to give a necessary lining thickness and can cure promptly and uniformly and to provide a method for repairing a pipe which enables repairing a large-sized pipe using the lining material. CONSTITUTION:A tubular intermediate layer 1A is formed by connecting small sized tubular resin absorbers 2; a lining material 1 is composed by sandwiching the intermediate layer 1 with inner and outer tubular resin absorbers. In repairing a pipe 4, the pipe lining material 1 is inserted into a pipe 4, and an open liner 9 is inserted reversely into the pipe lining material 1 by fluid pressure to press the pipe lining material 1 on the inner wall of the pipe 4. In this condition, a reversible tube 10 is inserted reversely into the resin absorber 2 of the intermediate layer of the lining material 1 by fluid pressure to feed a heating fluid into the reversible tube 10 so that a thermosetting resin injected in the pipe lining material 1 is cured. |
