PURPOSE:To provide a mattress comprising an obverse layer with a rugged surface made of a pliable material like sponge, etc., and a reverse layer made of a material harder than the one used for the obverse layer so that the product, when used over a bed mattress with high resiliency, shows a digital compression treatment effect or a massaging effect with its projected points while keeping air permeability. CONSTITUTION:An obverse layer 12 with jugged surface 16 made of a pliable material like sponge, etc., is laminate upon a reverse layer 14 made of a material harder than the one used for the obverse layer to constitute a mattress for Japanese bedding (called as SHIKI BUTON in Japanese)10. A plurality of hinges are fixed to the SHIKI BUTON 10 so that it may be folded in two or three. When the SHIKI BUTON 10 is used by laying it over a bed mattress with high resiliency, its reverse layer 14 maintains the whole body of the SHIKI BUTON to be almost flat. Thus, the user's body is kept to be almost flat on the SHIKI BUTON. Thus, the user's body is pleasantly pressed by the projected points of the obverse surface of the SHIKI BUTON thereby giving a digital compression treatment effect or a massaging effect while keeping air permeability. |
