PURPOSE:To allow a movable mold to surely retreat to a desired retreat position from a mold clamping position by stopping the piston of a mold clamping cylinder at a prescribed advance position and supplying a prescribed vol. of hydraulic operating fluid to the oil chamber on the retreat side of the mold clamping cylinder. CONSTITUTION:In the mold opening position state of a piston 18, a movable mold is set to a mold opening position in the state integrated with a movable plate. Oil pressure is supplied to the oil chamber 10a on the mold clamping side of a mold clamping cylinder 10 to perform mold clamping and a prescribed amt. of a foamable molten resin is injected into a mold cavity C. Continuously, mold clamping is performed and the pipeline of the oil chamber 10b on the mold opening side of the mold clamping cylinder 10 is blocked and oil pressure is supplied to a passage 26a from an oil pressure source 27. By this constitution, the hydraulic operating fluid in an oil chamber 22a is forcibly pushed out into the oil chamber 10b on the mold opening side of the mold clamping cylinder 10 and the movable mold retreats by prescribed quantity to increase the volume of the cavity to perform foaming. |
