PURPOSE:To resolve both inferiority in discharge and shear of an impacted position which are caused by both fluctuation in temperature at respective parts of an ink jet recorder and fluctuation in an ink residual amount in an ink tank in the ink jet recorder. CONSTITUTION:When recording is carried out, ink temperature of a recording head is detected (step S106). A driving method is selected on the basis of the detected ink temperature (step S107). Then, a driving interval of a heater for discharging ink is determined according to the selected driving method (step S108 or S109). For example, when ink temperature is comparatively low, a heating interval is lengthened, and sufficient time for refilling is taken. Thus, the recording head is driven by the heating interval determined and recording is carried out (step S110). |
