PURPOSE:To prevent both warping of a printed-wiring board and floating of a terminal block from the board at the time of soldering the terminal block to the board so that the terminal block may be mounted on the board without difficulty by providing the terminal block with plural leg portions abutting on the board, plural lead legs of connecting terminals projected out of the board, and plural locking portions elastically deformed against respective corresponding locking holes on the board to be inserted into the holes so that they may be passed through the board to be locked to the board with restoration to their respective original shapes. CONSTITUTION:The seventeen lead legs 34 and paired hook portions 25 of a terminal block 20 are inserted respectively into jointing holes 11 and locking holes 12, all formed on a printed- wiring board 10 to make them to correspond respectively with the legs 34 and the hook portions. At that time, each of the hook portions 25 is elastically deformed against its corresponding hole 12 to be inserted into and through the hole 12, jointed to the board 10, and subsequently restored to its original shape so that an L-shaped locking portion 26 may be engaged with the board 10 to support the board 10 from its back side. At this time, plural leg portions 24 are abutted upon the board 10 to form space portions respectively between the terminal block 20 and the board 10. The terminal block 20 is locked, jointed and fixed to the board 10, and subsequently the lead legs 34 together with other parts being mounted on the board 10 are respectively soldered to the board 10 in a soldering bath. This facilitates mounting of the terminal block 20 on the board 10, can prevent both warping the board 10 and lifting the terminal block 20, and also can suppress raising the temperature of the board 10 during its operation by the spaces between the board 10 and the terminal block 20. |
