PURPOSE:To keep heat entering a low-temperature rotor at a stable level and to minimize the freezing and closing of a cooling path and the sliding of the cooling path at the time of thermal contraction by installing a current lead thermal contraction absorbing structure between a high temperature-side current lead and a low temperature-side current lead. CONSTITUTION:A low temperature-side current lead 17a has a pipe-like through hole for cooling 18a and it is located in the standing position in the radius direction in a low-temperature rotor 2, with its one end connected to a superconducting field coil l. A high temperature-side current lead 17b has a pipe-like through-hole for cooling 18b and it is inserted into a through-hole 7a of an end shaft 7, with a part of its one end connected to, for example, a collector ring and the end part connected to, for example, a helium supply and exhaust equipment. Between the low temperature-side current lead 17a and the high temperature-side current lead 17b, a flexible conductor 13 is located which connects the two current leads 17a and 17b electrically and serves as a thermal contraction absorbing structure which absorbs a thermal contraction difference between the high temperature-side current lead 17b and the surrounding structure which is caused by the cooling of the lead 17b. |
