<p>PURPOSE:To suppress crack due to thermal stress, while facilitating assemblage, when the electrodes of varistor and the commutator of motor are soldered. CONSTITUTION:Since a through hole 12 on the side of a ceramic 11 for varistor is noncircular and the electrode part (p) of a commutator (c) being fitted therein has a noncircular cross-section inscribing the through hole 12, corresponding electrodes 14 and (e) can be connected accurately by simply fitting the electrode part (p) in the through hole 12 while matching the angle. Furthermore, when the commutator (c) of motor is soldered to the electrode 14 of the ceramic 11 for varistor 11, heat imparted to the ceramic 11 is transmitted radially to the inner wall of the through hole 12 to the outer peripheral side having broader cross-sectional area and thereby a steep temperature gradient is retarded.</p> |
