PURPOSE:To enable a head-up display system to be employed, which is excellent in reproducibility for a map with cost lowered by providing the device with a display control means which not only indicates a present position over a liquid crystal screen but also makes the present position coincide with a corresponding position over a film map. CONSTITUTION:A head-up display hologram 14 is disposed above a map sheet 10. lighting a projection light source 16 permits information such as a present position and the like indicated by a shutter mechanism, and map information 30A which is printed on the sheet 10 while being contracted, to be projected to the hologram 14 at a liquid crystal screen 12 based on control signals from a control means 18. This constitution thereby enables information to be formed into an image behind the hologram 14, and thereby enables information to be indicated as an imaginary screen 30B. As a result, map information can be seen behind the hologram 14 as viewed from the front side of the hologram 14. |
