PURPOSE:To provide an AI type production kind instructing device by which a product kind to be produced can be instructed within the line tact of a production line by making the most of the advantage of an expert system by an AI technique and deciding the optimal product kind by the absolute minimum processing. CONSTITUTION:Invalidity relational data M12 indicating a product kind M6 whose production is invalid are stored for each state M8 in an AI data base M4 of an AI type production kind instructing device M2, and a means M14 which eliminates an inference processing to the kind M6 read from the invalidity relation data M12 is added to an AI inference executing means M16. Therefore, when the invalidity relation data M12 are rear during the execution of the inference processing the inference processing to the kind M6 is eliminated. That is, the inference processing to the kind M6 is stopped, and the inference processing to the next kind is executed. Thus, the inference processing to a part M20 shown by oblique lines is eliminated, so that a processing time required only for the inference processing can be shortened. |
