PURPOSE:To stop power supply to a motor driver when a motor is not operated, and to prevent a temperature rise in the motor driver by providing a motor power-supply control means controlling power supply from a power supply to the motor driver while being synchronized with a motor driving signal. CONSTITUTION:When a driver IC Q1 is supplied with a motor driving signal by firmware 10, a motor power-supply control signal is controlled by the firmware 10 in response to the supply of the motor driving signal, and brought to 'H' level voltage. Consequently, a transistor Q3 is brought to an on state, currents from a power supply Vcc are made to flow through the driver IC Q1 through a transistor Q2, and first or second DC motor is driven. When the driver IC Q1 is not fed with motor driving currents by the firmware 10, on the other hand, the motor power-supply control signal is brought to 'L' voltage by the firmware 10, the transistors Q2, Q3 are brought to an off state, the inflow of currents to the driver IC Q1 is stopped, and the internal heat build-up of the driver IC Q is inhibited. |
