Apparatus for the treatment of an endless textile material by means of a liquid, which comprises: . a compact round tub (1), a basket (6), a spinner (24), a pipe (30); . a close circuit (10) for supplying and recycling the treatment fluid; characterised - in that the tub (1) has at the top a closed cylindrical head (20) of vertical axis (22), on top (23) of which the rotary spinner (24) is arranged, in such a way that the path of the material leaving the basket (16), penetrating into the spreading pipe (30) and entering the spinner (24) is rectilinear; - in that the means for impregnating the material is located downstream of the spinner (24) and in the vicinity of the connection (26) of the tub (1) and of the cylindrical head (20) and consists in order: . of a means for impregnation by saturation overflow (37), connected to the intake of the treatment fluid (12) and aligned vertically with the exit of the spinner (24), . then, of a jet-type advancing means (42), likewise connected to the fluid intake. <IMAGE>
