PURPOSE:To provide an image processing method and a device by which influence upon display by a noise is reduced in a display device of which the gradation number capable of being displayed is few. CONSTITUTION:Analog image data is outputted from a host computer 101, and an A/D converting part 201 converts this into digital data. A noise removing part 202 calculates an average of data equivalent to plural image screens from inputted image data, and outputs it. Since a level of a noise mixed in the analog image data outputted from the host computer 101 is formed in normal distribution usually, when an average value of plural image data is adopted, the noise can be removed effectively. After inverse (gamma) conversion processing is carried out on the image data outputted from the noise removing part 202 by an inverse (gamma) conversion part 203, density-preserved binarizing processing is carried out by a binarizing intermediate tone processing part 204, and it is displayed on a display unit 111. |
