PURPOSE:To provide a method for diluting a sample capable of contributing to miniaturization and simplification of a sample inspection device and avoiding a risk of carry-over. CONSTITUTION:There are provided a sample nozzle 33 for dispersing a sample into a reaction well 25a provided on a microplate 25, and a dilution nozzle 38 for disposing a diluent into the reaction well 25a into which the sample has been dispensed, taking out a predetermined quantity of the diluted sample, discharging the taken-out diluted sample into a discharge vessel 45, and further dispensing the diluent into the reaction well 25a, so as to increase the dilution ratio of the sample. |
