PURPOSE:To reduce the loss of energy, to remove the influence of temperature rising and to facilitate the adjustment for dividing energy. CONSTITUTION:The dividing optical system comprises a mirror system 14 for dividing the almost circular cross section of a laser beam passed through a collimator lens 11 into plural laser beams. The cross section of an aperture 13 stopping the plural laser beams whose cross sections have been divided, is circular and the aperture 13 is arranged so that the center of the aperture 13 is nearly superposed on the center of gravity O of the cross section of the laser beam.
