<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of a noise bar at the time of high speed reproduction or unwinding reproduction by controlling the position of reference edge of a magnetic tape by an inclination driving means and also changing the height of guide pole arranged on a magnetic drum. CONSTITUTION:A traveling path of the magnetic tape on an upper drum Du and a lower drum Dd is changed in such a manner that a member provided with a guide part G for the positional control of magnetic tape controlling the position of the reference edge of the magnetic tape T is inclined. This inclination is done against a center axis of rotational locus circles of rotational magnetic heads Ha, Hb by the inclination driving means including an annular cam member CA. Thus, the positions of rotational locus surfaces of the heads Ha, Hb are kept constant against a fixed part DB of the device body. Further, the height of the guide poles arranged on the drums Du, Dd is changeable in the breadthwise direction of magnetic tape by a displacement driving means. Since the reference edge Te is guided by such a constitution, the generation of noise bar is prevented even in the case the width of recording track of the magnetic tape is narrow.</p> |
