<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of phenomenon such as a flutter on a tape thereafter even if the considerable flutter is once generated on the tape at the time of fast forwarding and unwinding operations. CONSTITUTION:A VTR device 1 forming the tape running device is furnished with reel motors 8a, 8b rotationally driving a pair of tape reels 4a, 4b wound with a magnetic tape 3 and a reel motor control part 9 setting a running speed of the magnetic tape 3 to a prescribed high speed with the rotary driving control for these reel motors 8a, 8b. The device is also provided with a speech information detecting part 30 always detecting the speed information of the running magnetic tape 3 and a discrimination part 40 discriminating whether the variation of the speed information is made within the allowable range or not. When the variation of speed information is discriminated by the discrimination part 40 as out of the allowable range, the reel motors 8a, 8b are controlled by the reel motor control part 9 so as to reduce the running speed of the magnetic tape 3.</p> |
