PURPOSE:To provide a speed reduction device having low vibration and presenting a high decelerating efficiency by forming it from steelballs, a stationary sun disc, driving sun disc, and follower sun disc, decreasing the rotation of the driving sun disc through utilization of a magnetic suction force and magnetic friction force, and transmitting to the follower sun disc. CONSTITUTION:A stationary sun disc 1, driving sun disc 2, and follower sun disc 3 made of a magnetic substance are installed on the same axis, and a plurality of steel balls 4a and 4b are arranged ring-shapedly on both sides of time driving sun disc 2. These two groups of steel balls 4a, 4b are held rotatably by non-magnetic ring plates 8a, 8b whose peripheries are coupled by a cylindrical separator 11, and the ones 4a are guided in rolling within a ring groove 10 formed in the stationary sun disc 1. A permanent magnet ring 12 magnetized in the radial direction is installed on each side face of the driving sun disc 2, and thereby a magnetic circuit is formed routing as the permanent magnet ring 12, driving sun disc 2, steel ball 4a or 4b, and stationary sun disc 1 or follower sun disc 12. |
