PURPOSE:To join the large end part of a fiber reinforced material connecting rod without lowering its strength, and to put the connecting rod within a required locus. CONSTITUTION:In a fiber reinforced material connecting rod 10 formed by joining a connecting rod body 1 to a cap member 2, the inside of the connecting rod body 1 is buriedly provided with a reinforcing fiber 8 so as to reach from a small end part 10A through a connecting lever part 10C to a large end forming part 10B, and the end of the reinforcing fiber 8 is exposed toward the back of the cap member 2, and a locking member 7 is locked to the end of the reinforcing fiber 8 by utilizing the tensile reaction force of the reinforcing fiber 8 for joining the connecting rod body 1 to the cap member 2. |
