PURPOSE:To speed up the plotting speed of a graphic constructed by combining plural segments. CONSTITUTION:A host processor sets graphic information of a certain segment of the graphic consisting of continuous straight lines to 1st register groups 310 and 312 in a graphic processor for plotting. At the time of copying the information to 2nd register groups 311 and 313 to plot them, the final point information (storage information in the register 310) of the last segment is copied to a start point register 312 of the 1st register group to reuse it for the next continuous segment plotting. Thus, the graphic information amount which is set to the graphic processor by the host processor is reduced, and the bus occupancy time is shortened, and then the plotting speed is improved. |
