PURPOSE:To take out housed paper in a state where copying is not performed on its back surface just by performing key operation by ejecting the paper in an intermediate tray to a paper ejecting tray in the state where copying is not performed on the rear side first when copying is started after leaving the machine for a fixed time. CONSTITUTION:When a specified key on a control panel 4, for example, a stopping key 7 is turned on while ordinary double sided copying is performed, ordinary copying actions are performed in the case a paper existence detecting sensor 21 detects that there is no housed paper 20 in the intermediate tray 19. When it is detected that there is the housed paper 20, a copying start key 5 is turned on, so that the machine gets in a forcible paper ejecting mode and operation for ejecting all of the housed paper 20 in the state where copying is not performed on the back side is performed. In such a case, in the forcible paper ejecting mode, the housed paper flows in quite the same timing as in the case of ordinary rear side copying, and the only different point from the ordinary rear side copying is that a photosensitive drum 22 is not rotated and kept in a stop state. |
