摘要 |
PURPOSE:To facilitate reliquefaction subsequent to thermal overloading and miniatuarize the buffer tank in a superconducting magnet refrigerating system by temporarily storing vaporized helium in the low temperature buffer tank when a thermal load exceeds the freezer's capability. CONSTITUTION:Usually a flow control valve 13 is fully open, and the internal pressure of a low temperature buffer tank 12 is equal to the pressure of a liquid helium standing section 2. When the thermal load is increased due to excitation/demagnetization of a superconducting magnet, the valve 13 is closed to increase the internal pressure of the buffer tank, and a region for temporarily storing helium gas is thereby ensured. After the ordinary thermal load has been restored, the flow control valve 13 is opened to reliquefy the helium. |
